Wildcat Creek Instruction Programs

The game of golf has been around for over 100 years and is a game for the individual. It can be a competitive game or a game ideal for socializing with friends. In both instances – the more skill you acquire – the more satisfaction and fun you will achieve. We are endeavoring to help people of all ages achieve the level that they will have self confidence and will continue in the game, thus having fun and satisfaction.

After studying the results of new golfers in the past, Wildcat Creek Golf Course and the golfing industry has concluded that people who do not receive formal instruction, and do not come to the golf course for at least two weeks, are not likely to continue playing. We highly encourage all people wanting to learn to play golf take the 5 week camp.

Wildcat has a complete program for all groups to gain instruction and then play in a continually improving way for the rest of the year. Remember, golf is a life long sport.

  1. We strongly urge the parent/grandparent to take golf instruction along with the juniors so they can bond and progress at the same pace. To do this, we are offering camps for the junior and the parent/grandparent at the same time – different groups with different instructors. The cost for each is $99 and will run 5 weeks. No equipment is necessary.
  2. During the camps– we will provide a large bucket of balls free every day in between your instructional classes. This is time for you to practice what you learned.
  3. After the 4th week and 5th week of instruction, you and the junior will play 4 holes of golf on our golf course. This is part of the 5 week camp and the 5 day camp.
  4. After your camp is over, the junior can come play for $1 per hole or buy a unlimited play pass for the rest of the golfing season for $75. If the parent/grandparent also has attended our camp, the two can get a pass for $250 for both, which includes golf car when adult is playing . This is unlimited play for both new players. Juniors younger than 7th grade must play with an adult. (New golfers golfing time will be limited to after 3:00pm daily and junior golfers can not make a tee time but can play when the tee is open)
